New York's College Application Week was highlighted nationally by the American Association of Community Colleges.
Two-hundred nine high schools and community groups from around the state participated.
For the 109 schools and groups who reported:
- 7,329 high school seniors and eligible adults submitted college applications.
- Nearly 17,000 college applications were submitted in all.
Thanks to strong partners, including the New York City Department of Education, high school administrators and counselors, and volunteers from colleges, these New York State students received the guidance and support they needed in the college application process.
Now they need to take the next step for successful enrollment in college: completing the FAFSA and TAP applications.
