Find Your College

Choose the College That's Right for You

Before you decide on any college, take a campus tour. You won't know if the college is right for you until you experience it first hand.

You can visit a college any time. But by the end of your junior year or beginning of your senior year, you should visit the colleges you're most interested in. The best time to visit is during the week when classes are in session.

Make an appointment for your tour at least two weeks in advance. Tours are usually done in groups and led by a student who can answer many of your questions, but you can always take your own tour, too.

Try to meet with an admissions representative, a teacher in the department you're interested in, or the coach if you're thinking of playing on a sports team.

Use these tools to help guide you through your campus tours, and help you to find the college that's right for you.
